About Nikki

Based in the Midwest — Available Worldwide

Welcome, friend, my name is Nikki! Growing up on a farm in Morton, Illinois, I spent my childhood days exploring the sprawling acres, camera in hand, capturing the beauty of my surroundings. This love for photography turned into a passion for videography, and over the years this passion has morphed into this business of mine. Filming weddings is my favorite event, and it's incredibly rewarding to capture the most important day of people's lives.

In addition to my videography work, I'm also a full-time registered nurse. Nursing has taught me valuable skills that benefit my work as a videographer, like teamwork, patience, and attention to detail.

When I'm not working, I love indulging in ice cream and binge-watching shows like New Girl and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. I also enjoy spending time outdoors, although camping in Illinois is not my favorite due to the bugs. My recent adventure was a 35-mile hike in the Grand Canyon.

I'm married to my best friend, and we both grew up in Morton, which we love because we're close to everyone we care about. I'm always up for an adventure, and Switzerland is at the top of my list of places to visit. That's just the surface of who I am, but if you're looking for a passionate videographer, I'm your person.

My aim is to not only document your special day, but to weave together a cinematic masterpiece that you can cherish for years to come. For me, there's nothing more rewarding than getting to know a couple on a personal level and capturing the joy and happiness of their wedding day. As your videographer, I'll be there to document every special moment, from the exchanging of vows to the heartfelt toasts. Whether it's an elopement or a grand wedding celebration, my goal is to create a breathtaking film that transports you back to that magical day.

: it's delicate, but potent. In Greek, "nostalgia" literally means "the pain from an old wound." It's a twinge in your heart far more powerful than memory alone, a feeling of a place we ache to go again.
